The PLANT 2030 ACADEMY offers a mentoring program for early stage plant scientists in Germany. In the course of one year, mentoring tandems meet and discuss issues of professional and personal development.

This online seminar marks the beginning of a new mentoring period. It consists of two parts: The kick-off for the new mentoring phase and a seminar on the development of professional and personal goals. You can choose for yourself to participate in both or only one of them.

Mentoring Kick-Off

In the mentoring kick-off online seminar, we will introduce the mentoring program through short video lectures, which you can work through at your own pace. We support you in analyzing your personal and professional situation, setting mentoring goals and finding a suitable mentor.

Sustainable Career

As setting goals is important for a successful mentoring cooperation, we additionally provide a seminar entitled “Sowing the seeds for a sustainable future – Exploring personal and career goals“ by Caroline Große, professional coach and trainer. Carolin introduces concepts for goal setting and gives you tools to actively engage with your development.

This online seminar is part of the PLANT 2030 ACADEMY mentoring program for young plant scientists in Germany.

Enrollment for the online seminar is open now (see button "Join this event" at the top).

The video lectures and worksheets are available from June 17 onwards, and you can work on them in a self-paced manner.

Afterwards, you decide whether you want to join the mentoring program.

If you like to join the mentoring program, let us know until August 8 at the latest via e-mail: PLANT2030@die-blattmacher.com

Who may join the PLANT 2030 ACADEMY mentoring program?

The mentoring program is open to all early-stage plant scientists working or studying in Germany. In case the number of persons enrolled exceeds the capacity, people working on BMBF funded projects will be prioritized. There is no legal claim.
